Pete grew up on the south coast of England, nestled between the sea and the South Downs National Park, establishing both a respect and appreciation for the natural world.  In 2012, he started working as a carpenter onboard some of the biggest and best Superyachts in the world, taking him from glaciers in the arctic to palm tree lined tropical paradises, global cultural hotspots and everything in-between. It was onboard that Pete developed the skills to design, build and maintain, the highest standards in a large range of materials and finishes.

After a decade of sailing and exploration, Pete has turned his focus on creating his own unique blend of the beauty nature has to offer with stylish sleek designs, inspired by the superyachts and unique environments he has had the privilege to experience.

Anvil Carpentry was born from a passion for the ocean and British countryside.  From its workshop in the  heart of North Somerset we have access to some of the most beautiful materials nature has to offer, right on our doorstep.
